A tall cylinder of honey-toned rattan, tightly wrapped in narrow bands from base to rim, with a removable metal liner inside that takes the chill and the wet. Deep enough to hold a bottle of wine or champagne right up to the neck.
Better looking than an ice bucket and happy to stay out on the table between courses, on a drinks tray or beside the sink at a party. Wipe the liner and let the rattan dry naturally.
