A padded heart hung from a gold cord, worked in deep midnight blue with gold beading and a crescent moon at the centre. Rich and a little Eastern, and the beading catches whatever light is in the room.
Too good to keep for the tree — hang it on a bedpost, a mirror or a wardrobe key and leave it there. It makes a lovely small gift.
