An antiqued glass bauble with raised leaves worked across it and a sugared finish that catches the light in grains rather than flashes. The colouring is warm brown and old gold, closer to something found than something bought.
Beautiful set deep in the branches where the tree lights can sit behind it. Wrap it in tissue at the end of the season and it will look the same in ten years.
