Shipping policy

We deliver across Ireland, and send smaller pieces to the UK and Europe. Delivery is charged by the size of what you have ordered, and the exact charge is shown at checkout before you pay.

How delivery is charged

Every piece on hedgeroe.com is assigned to a delivery class. Where an order contains items from more than one class, the charge is based on the largest.

  • Class 1 — Postage. Small accessories, cushion covers, candles and similar, sent by post or courier.
  • Class 2 — Small item. Table lamps, shades, glassware, boxed accessories.
  • Class 3 — Medium item. Larger lighting, mirrors, side tables and smaller furniture.
  • Class 4 — Large item. Substantial furniture requiring two people.
  • Class 5 — Hedgeroe van. Delivered by our own team, with the piece carried in, unpacked and placed in the room of your choice, and the packaging taken away.

Some fragile pieces are collection only and are marked as such at checkout.

Where we deliver

We deliver nationwide within Ireland. Postage, small and medium items can also be sent to the United Kingdom and the United States — rates for those destinations are shown at checkout. Furniture and van deliveries are within Ireland only.

Furniture and large pieces

Furniture is delivered rather than collected. We do not release furniture for collection from the showroom. Before delivery we will call you to agree a day, and we ask that you check access, doorways and stairwells beforehand — if a piece cannot be brought in, a further delivery charge may apply.

Larger and made-to-order pieces have their own lead times, which we will confirm when you order. If something is delayed by our supplier we will tell you as soon as we know.

Timescales

Stocked accessories usually leave us within a few working days. Furniture and lighting held in the showroom are booked in with you directly. Made-to-order and bespoke pieces are made to the lead time quoted at the time of ordering.

When your order arrives

Please check your order on arrival and tell us straight away if anything is damaged or missing, so we can put it right. Photographs help.

Trade and interior design orders

Trade accounts are delivered on the same basis, charged on a location basis and quoted before anything is booked.
