A standing horse in the Tang style, saddled and bridled, finished in a dark bronzed glaze with the detail picked out in verdigris and rust. The modelling is properly done — the arched neck and braced legs give it real presence for its size.
Good on a console, a library shelf or a mantel, and better still paired with books and a lamp rather than left on its own.
