A scented candle in a dark tortoiseshell glass, mottled brown so it looks almost black until it is lit. Geranium — green and sharp rather than floral and heavy.
Good in a kitchen or a hall where you want the air freshened rather than perfumed. Keep the glass afterwards; it is too handsome to throw out.
