Amber Deer Candle Holder

Dimensions: H:12.5cm

Antiqued amber glass with a gilded winter scene worked around it — a stag and doe standing among fir trees, a little house, and a scatter of stars overhead. The mercury finish is mottled and slightly uneven, which is exactly the point: put a tealight inside and the light breaks up as it passes through the glass, catching the gold as it goes.

Handsome in a row of three down the centre of a Christmas table, or one on its own beside the hall mirror. Tealight not included.
