A spray of thistles in a dry, faded brown, the heads spiky and the stems branching so it fills more space than you expect. It has the look of something cut and left to dry in a shed.
Good on its own in a stone jug, or mixed through pampas and grasses. Trim the stems to suit and it keeps its shape year after year.
