The Storied Table — Old Treasures, New Traditions
A Christmas tablescaping morning on how to mix old and new.

Saturday 14 November 2026, 11am (one hour)
Hedgeroe Home, Unit 1, The View, The Ave, Carrickmines Manor, Carrickmines Great, Dublin 18, D18 C6V4

We all have our good china — pieces inherited, or given to mark a special occasion, that are too precious to part with but rarely see the table. This Christmas, we want to inspire you to use them in a fresh light. Annie of Acquerello will dress a table before your eyes, mixing vintage pieces with new to tell one story, while Rebecca of Hedgeroe arranges seasonal flowers in old tureens, jugs and heirloom vessels.

And because the table is only half the picture, Rachael of Elan, Dublin's occasion-wear rental studio, will show you how to rent a statement piece and style it with accessories you already own for a fresh festive look.

Bring along your favourite plate or a vintage piece you love, and we'll help you see it in a fresh light.

In aid of the Capuchin Day Centre
Places are by a €25 donation per person, and 100% of your donation goes to the Capuchin Day Centre on Bow Street, which serves around 700 hot dinners every day to people who are homeless or facing food poverty. As we gather around our own tables this Christmas, help us set theirs.

On the day

• 15% off selected Hedgeroe & Acquerello pieces, in store at Hedgeroe Home (cannot be combined with the Hedgeroe membership discount)
• A €15 Elan rental voucher for every guest, to use on an Elan rental on the day or when you book, until the end of 2026

Please note: as this is a charity fundraiser, donations are non-refundable. Your booking confirmation is your place on the guest list; there is nothing to collect or ship.
