A square mirror with an open fretwork pattern laid across the glass, painted in a soft grey so the lattice reads as a shadow rather than a frame. The reflection comes through in pieces, which is far more interesting than a plain sheet.
It does the work of a window on a dark wall. Beautiful over a console in a hall, or squared up above a fireplace where the pattern can be seen properly.
