A long console in a soft grey painted finish, raised on turned legs with a full-length shelf beneath. The proportions are generous without being heavy, so it holds a wall in a hall rather than filling it.
That lower shelf is made for baskets — boots, post, the things that otherwise end up on the floor. Lovely behind a sofa too, with a lamp at either end and a mirror above.
