A ceramic horse in the archaic style, head bowed and one foreleg forward, finished in a chalky antiqued grey that pools in the modelling and catches on the saddlecloth. It has the weight and the worn surface of something older than it is.
A characterful piece for a mantel, a shelf of books or a console beside a lamp — the sort of object that gives a room a bit of quiet personality. Hand-finished, so tone varies from piece to piece.
